MOMENTS IN PARIS

This trip has been like a dream… Being back in my favorite cities and doing what I love to do!! The city been so exciting between getting to see all my favourite places again and also seeing some shows, designers, familiar faces I haven’t seen in years! It’s so good to be back.. Another plus about this trip is the sense of ease that I’ve been able to have courtesy of my CIBC Air Canada AC Conversion Prepaid Visa Card! Whether it’s been on the go, in between shows, before a night on the town or whatever! I have been able to manage my funds and currencies all on one card from wherever I’ve gone.. With the CIBC Air Canada AC Conversion Prepaid Visa Card you are able to reload your funds from an app right on your smartphone or tablet and exchange your Canadian dollars to 10 different currencies (AUD, CHF, EUR, GBP, HKD, JPY, MXN, USD, TRY & CAD)!!! The way it works is, it locks in foreign exchange rates when you load a currency so you don’t have to worry about fluctuating rates when you travel and you aren’t charged any additional fees when you use the card (excluding ATM fees) – so you’ll know EXACTLY how much you’re spending on every single transaction! Plus, if you ever do need to make an ATM withdrawal, the card will allow one free withdrawal per month, per country. You can use it in 45 countries around the world wherever Visa is accepted, including online!! From Toronto to Las Vegas with @ExpediaCa #VegasYou

I can’t believe it’s already been some weeks and some days since my trip to Vegas with Expedia and two of my faves Christian & Vanessa!!! It’s funny because If you follow me on social media, you know that I have been to Vegas a couple times in the past and had nice times… But not like this! This was definitely and undeniably… ONE FOR THE BOOKS!!.. This time around I had the pleasure of being invited by Expedia Canada to have and create a #VegasYou experience!! What is Vegas You, you ask? It’s basically a new online destination where YOU can find all things Vegas that fit YOU and YOUR needs! From planning the perfect shopping trip, to organizing the most ideal bachelorette party – All within clicks of a button… #VegasYou categorizes the hotels and destinations and then breaks down all the fab things each spot has to offer saving you sanity and of course much needed TIME that would rather be spent TURNING IT UP in VEGAS!!… BUT YAS!! Back to the trip.. I have to say I probably have NEVER laughed more in my entire life on any trip with friends like this! It was a trip of a trip lol!!

The trip started with us all communally giving input on where to stay.. We scoured Expedia.Ca for the hottest hotels we could find and NATURALLY ended up with the SLS Hotel Las Vegas, which ended up being such an amazing choice… Upon arriving to Vegas we checked in and made an instant dash for the lux pool area adorned in chic white cabana’s, day beds & more… It was so fabulous!! Then we made our way up to our beautiful room (see above) that gave us the perfect backdrop for a bunch of the content we would be capturing throughout the week… After we were all settled in we went on a bit of an adventure on the Vegas strip and sat and watched the sunset between and amidst all of the towering towers and of course, went to visit one of my favourite stores in the city, Barneys New York! #SHOPPPPPPPING!!!!!!

On one of the excursions we made a point to go driving out into the middle of Nevada and into the desert where we would eventually capture some of the most iconic must-do moments! We captured some of the coolest pictures I have taken in a while and had such a memorable adventure.. I CAN’T EVEN DENY IT HUNTY!! I WAS AFRAID!! I was NOT trying to get eaten up by no coyotes or scorpions! It was insane!!! You can see more pictures here in my post: Child Of The Desert

We also went to the Neon Museum which is quintessentially the grave yard for all the Las Vegas neon signs that have stood the test of time… At first, I thought how great of a photo op would this be, and it was, but after actually attending and listening, it was SO fascinating to learn about all the history that Vegas really has, all the scandals, the high’s, the lows, the star studded affairs and mobster scares! It was honestly, truly… SO enlightening!!

One of the undeniable highlights of this trip had to be doing a late night fly over Las Vegas.. It’s so crazy how something so grand from the ground can look like toys in a video game from miles up! We went at about 8:00PM when we knew the city would be lit up and the sun would be set.. It was like a dream! If YOU reading this, EVER go to Vegas YOU MUST!! Another moment where I was afraid in the moment but quickly got over it when I was able to let go and appreciate the beauty of what human beings are capable of!!!

ALL IN ALL.. What it comes down to is my CHEAT SHEET TO VEGAS!!! Ready!?!?!?.. Here it is!!! TO EAT: BEAUTY & ESSEX, LAVO, TAO, MR.CHOW <-- (my favourite!!) TO SHOP: WHERE ELSE HONEY!?!?! BARNEYS OF COURSE!!! TO PLAY: OMNIA, LIGHT, SURRENDER, NEON MUSEUM, HELICOPTER RIDE OVER LAS VEGAS.. I know I’m missing one.. Wait.. Vanessa & Christian, if you guys are reading this, what’s the nightclub I was having so much fun at I FLIPPED BACK AND FELL OFF DA COUCH!?!?!? LOL!!! TO LOUNGE: THE SLS LAS VEGAS POOL

CHILD OF THE DESERT

This Vegas trip has been so amazing thus far, I can’t believe we’ve already been here for three days. It feels although it’s been a week! If you have been following me on social media you know that I am on this trip with two of my favourite blogger friends courtesy of Expedia!!! We have been doing such fun and exciting things here like this… We drove out into the desert, without any direction and when we felt we found the right place, we just hopped out of the car and dove right into it… Thus, creating, these magical warm, moody, vintage and dusty feeling moments that I never thought I would capture in a million years!!!! What a time!.. Stay tuned for more!!

Southhampton

Oh how ever do I carry on here…. And how much do I miss the nothingness accompanied by the sounds of the water splashing against the pool and the wind kissing the greenery creating that beautiful sound….. I literally just made a poem or a haiku or whatever about HOW much I miss The Hamptons!!!! I had such a wonderful stay and it was great to have some good quality family time even though I almost went insane come day 7 lol!! Regardless, it’s crazy how calm, peaceful and serene everything is when in The Hamptons.. Definitely can not wait to go back!!! Xx

In The ?

So after our week and some days in The Hamptons (which I still of course have to share) we decided to head down to New York for a night before heading back home! Prior to heading to NY we did some shopping and I found two things I have now not stopped being obsessed with! First, is without a doubt this Levi’s flannel that literally gives me Saint Laurent proportion shivers (a few people actually asked me if it were Saint Laurent) and I was like! LOL NOPE!!! Paid about a thousandth of the price and looking just as good haha!! And then there is this Prada moment that… No.. Can we please just take a few seconds to inhale, exhale and give our YASSSSSESSSSSSS!!!! Can’t wait to give this a full lewk for the Couture shows in January!!!!
