DATA CENTER CHANEL Spring/Summer 2017

When you think that one… One being, Uncle Karl, could never out do himself.. There he goes again.. Then again, we should know by now, that there is never really any stopping the genius that is Karl Lagerfeld…. For the Spring/Summer 2017 collection runway presentation, Team Chanel, turned the Grand Palais into a digital science center making “Intimate technology” the theme of his collection. It is stated that Lagerfeld’s vision for this collaboration ‘celebrates a woman walking through kilometres of cables, metallic racks and computer cabinets: she is the very heart of the Data Center CHANEL, she who is the final word and the mistress of this digital universe. This season more than ever, with grace and tenderness, femininity takes control in a collection that allies the audacity of lingerie and the comfort of tweed. The Spring-Summer 2017 CHANEL woman wears her babydoll and negligee in silk and lace. And over that she nonchalantly sports a tweed jacket with rounded shoulders, long sleeves and wide lapels, and a pair of culottes zipped at the front and back. She wears a robot-clutch.’ – All in all I have to say THAT LITTLE MINI ROBOT CLUTCH IS EVERYTHINGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! I said on social media ‘let the OCD’ begin.. I can imagine it’s already pre-ordered to the gods and back!!!! Can’t wait to see these looks (my favourites above) come to life in campaigns, editorials and more as the time comes! Happy #PFW!

CHANEL Haute Couture AW 2016/17

How is it that every time Karl Lagerfeld puts together a show it captivates more then the last? This season for Chanel’s autumn/winter 2016/17 haute couture runway show, Karl Lagerfeld gave me chilling but beautiful flashbacks of the days I spent roaming the halls of the Metiers d’Art Ateliers LESAGE & LEMARIÉ… The collection itself was yet another beautiful array of iconic Chanel silhouettes (slightly slimmed down, I feel for this collection) and of course great details and accessories! Enjoy!!

Unboxing; The Hermes Apple Watch ⌚️?⌚️?⌚️?⌚️?

Hey guys!! Happy Monday :):):):).. If you follow me on social media (instagram, twitter, snapchat, etc.) you will know that before the weekend I was lucky enough to get my hands on the new Hermes Apple Watch!! I had been using the Apple Watch since it came out but the fashion obsessed freak in me obviously wanted the Hermes edition because well.. HELLO HERMES!!!! lol!! So of course I am familiar with the device as it is still quintessentially the same…BUT.. The little differences? They are great.. I do enjoy the new little features like the ‘HERMES P A R I S’ face and well of course, the key element.. The packaging and the interchangeable straps! I have to say that Apple & Hermes, did not compensate or cut corners on any asset of this collaboration..

The packaging is undoubtedly a real authentic Hermes experience. Even the dust bag the extra straps comes with is spot on to when you purchase real leather goods/straps at your local Hermes boutique. And the quality!?!?! Once I felt the straps there was no second guessing.. I also have to say!! I thought it was quite clever that the second hand doesn’t tick but rather slowly glides clockwise as luxury time pieces do!!! DOWN TO THE DETAILS!! lol… I have to say.. I have seen a lot of designer x tech & vice versa collaborations but I really have to give props to Apple & Hermes for this one.. It is a collaboration that is done to the best possible degree and makes so much sense.. It just works and for that I give it a big ol’ ONE HUNDO P!!! Now that I have unboxed the pieces I am going to be utilizing the device and seeing the wearability and functionality vs the style and design… So stay tuned to my social media & etc for more!!!!!

Trying To Blend In

Sweater – COS / Bag – CHANEL / Pants – IRO / Shoes – ALDO / Rings – SWAROVSKI

Fashion Week has been quite interesting for me.. The main reason is because this week I have totally gone against the grain of what I normally wear and have been wearing completely ‘different’ things.. Almost ‘Trying To Blend IN’ if you will… I wore things I don’t normally wear like tops that cover up my chest, light coloured this and that, like this absolutely cozy and beautiful sweater from COS’ Spring/Summer 2016 collection… Needless to say I am quite impressed by how comfortable I was trying these new styles. However I think what makes me me, is that I DO NOT blend in… I am not like the other bloggers in my city that all have the same style of content or dress for everyday.. I am not every day.. Even in these simple pieces, realistically a sweater and jeans, as Beyonce would say “I SLAY” – Yes you might think I am crazy for saying this but I genuinely think it’s important to uplift yourself.. Seriously! And to not be afraid to be proud of your self, your unique-ness and most of all I think people should give themselves a moment here and there to brag about themselves once in a while and share not only why they are thankful but why they feel deep down inside they are their best, or, simply, THE best ;)… I always say, I wish I had the confidence I do now in high school!! GURRRRLLLL!!

Je Voudrais; Chanel Spring/Summer 2016 ‘Chanel Airlines’ Luggage

With the holidays around the corner I am so excited for my annual family vacation to Miami and can’t wait to just get to the airport and fly… That being said, while I was packing for my trip (earlier today actually, I pack in spurts!) I thought to myself, a random thought if I may add, if I had designer luggage what would it be? Then it hit me, HELLO CHANEL AIRLINES! The Spring/Summer 2016 fashion show that took place in Paris transformed the Grand Palais into an airport themed runway fit with check in gates, bag luggage and of course signature Chanel travel bags and accessories.. I loved it, this art de vivre (art of living) was so perfect, chic and definitely, maybe, just maybe a #MustHave for travel!
