THE CURRENT SITUATION

Incase you were wondering. YES, my blog is still alive… I still use it and it is still a functioning part of my being MMKAY!? I know It’s kinda crazy to not update your blog in months but in my defence I have literally been going through the ‘under construction’ of a lifetime WHICH I am sure, that if you follow me on social media, you know exactly what I’m talking about…. I have been away basically since December and now that I am back I am going full throttle into MY NEW WAVE which I am so happy and excited about… That being said, stay tuned because we are in for a very, very interesting ride and if you don’t like it… THIS IS YOUR STOP! Taking A Minute


So as you may know I was in Paris not to long ago during the Spring/Summer 2018 Runway season and I just really wanted to take a minute to talk about how intense of a trip this was for me! Not because of the fashion, the city, the etc. it was because I took the step in the natural evolution that has been happening in my life right now! If you follow me I’m sure you can imagine that I am talking about my slow but steady transition to a more feminine aesthetic.. Which again, if you follow me, you will have undoubtedly noticed. That being said, it was this exact moment/day/time/break during Paris that was that last moment before the next step and it’s so crazy to think how such little personal decisions can change the entire way you see the world and the way the world sees you… to be continued..

THE NEW BEAT

It’s so crazy, every week or two is like a new eye opening experience in the world of make-up for me! If you read a bit of my last post, you’ll now know that I recently learned how to put lashes on.. I have also been learning how to apply eyeshadow, liners, etc.. How to properly contour and all these other crazy amazing things that have really helped evolve the way I not only apply but look at makeup. It really is such an artistry.. Blending, painting, colour matching, enhancing, etc… I have to say this is probably one of my favourite beauty looks to date.. I believe it’s the most refined version of what I normally try to do and with the added touch of the extra voluminous lashes!!! For this face I used:

Some Looks From TIFF

 

I can’t believe we are already at this time of the year!? Like September, TIFF, FASHION WEEKS!? ALREADY!?!!?!? LIKE HELLIU!?!?! In other news, I am super excited because about a week before TIFF I finally learned how to apply strips of false lashes so if you notice I’ve really been rocking it out wish my lashes out LOL!  Anyways, I just wanted to share something quickly so here are a couple looks from a couple of the many TIFF parties I’ve attended this week for TIFF!

An Evening with #BestBuyAppliances

 

You know I love a good dinner party! There is nothing like getting together with some of your favourite friends and foods, especially when it involves a celebrity chef such as the renowned Chef David Rocco! Last week I had the pleasure of being a guest at Best Buy Canada’s OVERLY chic (no seriously did you see the first photo in this post!? That was the dinner table!!) dinner party in celebration of the Best Buy’s large selection of appliances ranging from popular appliance brands at prices that fit anyone’s budget, and in just about every style and size you can think of!! The brand teamed up with David Rocco to curate and showcase a selection of key #BestBuyAppliances that are available at Best Buy, showcasing the range of products available at a Best Buy near you!!!! I was so happy I got to see some of my blogger besties #SELFIE!!!, pr faves and of course, get acquainted with the goodies available at Best Buy, especially since becoming a homeowner it’s always good to be in the know for when I finally decide to man up and domesticate myself and cook a damn meal!!! Oh and did Chef David Rocco ever make a killer meal! I was in foodie heaven! If you ever get the pleasure of having him cook for you… ASK FOR THE #BEATRISOTTO!!!!
