Something New Something Vintage

Something New.. Something Vintage.. A New Year with something vintage…. It’s 2018 and normally in the New Year, I like to treat myself to that one statement piece that I add to my collection. Every year it’s something from a Hermes or Chanel bag, a iconic jacket, new pair of designer shoes, etc. If you know me, then you’ll know that this year I have already been lusting over something a little more along the lines of a timepiece and what better way to start your first piece of the collection than with Rolex! I’ve personally been lusting over the ever so classic and timeless Vintage Rolex watches from Bob’s Watches most specifically this Gold Rolex Presidential reference 118238 (seen above). Obviously, this watch is an icon and one of the most recognizable of the Rolex, and more superficially Rolex President family! Constructed in 18k yellow gold, Rolex makes their watches with only the best materials. I love the classic shape, the roman numerals, as well as the champagne color on the dial, and of course, the signature day and date additions. Another option that has interestingly been creeping up on me (which I would of never expected) is the Rolex GMT-Master style which you can see below. There is something about the strong and masculine face and weight of the watch that I find attractive!!! The GMT-Master features an extremely rare all-blue bezel, nicknamed “blueberry”, is actually valued at a higher price than the entire watch itself. This watch is simply eye-catching. Geeze! SO many options BUT I definitely know it will be a Rolex from Bob’s Watches.

Thinking Of Something New…

I don’t know what it is, but as of late, I have been craving a new piece of jewelry. I was thinking of upgrading something that I already have. Then it hit me, instead of a specific piece of jewelry, why not get something a little different like a watch. Since coming to this realization I’ve been in the market scanning, scoping, and doing my research on all the different luxury watch brands and keep gravitating towards the classic Rolex. There is no doubt that it is one of the most iconic and well-known watch brands so I thought to myself “Why not start there!” I’ve been searching the web and while browsing I came across Bob’s Watches. To my surprise, WSJ dubbed them as “One of the largest watch trading sites” – And saw such an amazing selection of Rolex’s available! I was/am shook by the selection, how many options, link styles, face colours, bezels, etc. That being said, I haven’t decided if I want to go with a modern or a vintage Rolex. I am going to continue to do my research and hopefully will have some new goodies to share with you guys soon!!!

PUMA x The Weeknd #PUMAXO Parallel Boots

After all the excitement of the announcement of Puma teaming up with The Weeknd to create a collaboration I was super excited to see what everything would look like!! I of course loved the first drop of the Ignite limitless kicks and now I must give the crown to these! The Puma x The Weeknd Parallel Boots! I am not much of a boot/sneaker person, for myself, I think they look so good on like guys LOL!! I like either or, but these… No word of a lie, like made me be like “#DAMNiNEEDTHOSE!” I didn’t even give my Puma fam a chance to offer them to me before I was e-mailing and asking! There is something about the silhouette that makes them light enough to apply to my style! I also love the super thick sole!!! I think what also helps is that I am into this baggy track pant and sweater vibe right now even though yes, it is like 30°C outside.. BUT YOU KNOW!! IT IS WHAT IT IS LOL!!!! A Little Miami Never Hurt Nobody #STRUTwithPUMA

There’s nothing like Miami especially when you get to go with your best friends or family or people you just love. Now just imagine that plus getting to rock some new favourite fashion from Puma! A couple weeks ago now I jet setter three hours south with my friends down to South Beach where we turned it up turned it out lived in large and just plain out had fun. We went for two nights for my friends birthday and really really made some memories. Even though we were only there for a couple days it felt like we were there for a week because of all the Fabulous stuff we did during our time there from amazing dinners and lunches days at the beach to party party parties! Aside from all of this madness I also got to debut a pair of my new Tsugi Shinsei from Puma that I have been waiting to wear and thought why not wait for Miami because it would be the perfect destination to rock all white like it’s nobody’s business!!! I definitely have to say it was an added bonus that the Tsugi Shinsei shoes also double not only as one of my best looking shoes but AS ONE OF MY MOST COMFORTABLE hands down!!! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!.. The sock like structure and feeling makes them a breeze to slip on and just get going with!!! Oh and of course, the Puma x Rihanna, Fenty collab Kimono jacket made it’s debut too because #YASSSSSS!
