Last night here in Toronto I had the pleasure of attending the ‘CLUB YSL #YSLBeautyCrew‘ party which I have to say… Was such a blast!!!!!!!!! I was dying because I loved walking into the party and just seeing a sea of all black fashion…… SOOOO YSL😍😍!!!!!!!!! The party was filled wall to wall with so many people, lots of familiar faces and of course, enough champagne to keep everyone hydrated (tough life!!! LOL!)…. I actually had such a dope time turning it up with my friends but I have to say… more importantly FINALLY getting acquainted with YSL beauty products as (I’m ashamed to say) I have never used YSL beauty products before!!! It was my first time ever even trying them this night, and I only tried a couple!!! I actually ended up falling in love with a couple things :)… So obviously with that said I am super excited to get to know the brand a bit better and try some of these goodies and the VIP gift bag….. stay tuned 😉 xx
A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the Spring/Summer 2017 launch party for Cutler & Gross’ new collection for the season. It was a fun night filled with some of my favourite people good drinks some yummy bites and of course some super fierce eyewear. That evening I had the pleasure of connecting with the amazing Cutler & Gross team all the way in from the U.K. and (of course) also trying on some new amazing shades!!! I fell in love with too many things to mention but then there was one pair that I could not get my hands off of (can you guess which ones LOL) – One thing I love most about Cutler & Gross sunglasses is the fact that they are all products that are handmade so you know that the workmanship, quality and I would say, most importantly durability of these frames are built to last!!! I’ve had a pair for about three years now and they have really been surviving the test of time, which with my hectic, busy lifestyle is such a plus!!!!!! Anyways enjoy some of my favorite photos from the night and don’t forget to check them out online or at their boutique here in Toronto at 758 Queen St. West!!!

OMG I can’t believe this was already last week!!! Last week I had the pleasure of inviting a bunch of friends to come out with me to a one of a kind night out with Coca Cola here in Toronto in celebration of their new #TasteTheFeeling branding launch. What the party was in celebration for, was the fact that Coca Cola in 2016 will combine all their different brand directions into one harmonious movement being #TASTETHEFEELING. It was such a blast of a night with Coca Cola inspired cocktails, some great performances from Sam Roberts Band, DJ Baby Yu and a special performance from the voice of the theme song/jingle for the new #TASTETHEFEELING campaign Conrad Sewell! Follow along with all the Coca Cola updates on their social media or with the #TASTEtheFEELING hashtag AND scroll down to see some of my favourite moments of the night!
It’s so cool to see your friends do AMAZING things like open up their own salon in one of the most luxurious parts of the city! A couple days ago Karim & I had the pleasure of spinning one of my close friends, Tony Pham’s opening night party of his new salon/boutique LAC+CO! The space is beyond words beautiful, fresh and airy. The products are so luxe (shotty on the dior sunglasses!) AND the vibe is just so dope! For the opening night the salon was turned into one of the cities hottest parties courtesy of the amazing coordination by Candice & Alison events!!! The music was so fun (we hope you liked it!) the food and drinks were delicious and the crowd was GORGEOUS! It was such a blast.. We definitely had a KIKI!! See some of my favourite photos captured by George Pimmnentel of the night below 🙂 XOJAY
Hello, hello, hellooooo!!!!!! O.k. so if you follow me on social media, then you know that last week I had the pleasure of hosting and DJ’ing the exclusive launch and preview of the new Disaronno bottle design collaboration with Roberto Cavalli here in Toronto!! If you are familiar with the collaboration you’ll know that last year they did Versace and this year they did Roberto Cavalli!! Both my fashion families!!!! For the third year of Disaronno’s ICON project, the design drew inspiration from the Roberto Cavalli SS 2015 Pre Collection. The graphic animal print channels ‘enchanting undersea world and the most exotic safari locations…’ Another plus about this collaboration is that this partnership is also benefitting Disaronno’s ‘ICON’ project’s ongoing Charity Partner ‘Fashion 4 Development’ which is a great initiative sponsored by the United Nations… Honestly, I had sooo much fun being a part of this event and I am so happy that so many of my friends came out to play, kiki, dance and of course sip from the new Disaronno bottles!! I wore a fab just cavalli sweater that my Cavalli family in Milano sent over to me! But side note.. This must of been the first time I wore a crew neck sweater in public in months lol!! The highest neckline I have rocked in a while lol!!! Anyways!!! Continue reading and scroll down to see some of my favourite moments from the night!! XOJAY
The other night just a couple days before the TIFF & New York Fashion Week madness, I had the pleasure of attending the Rudsak store opening at the Toronto Eaton Centre. IT was the perfect way to foray into the madness with the nice calm evening celebrating a new success of a Canadian brand, as you know I am all about supporting Canadian! The store looked great and it was so nice to see some familiar faces!! This evening I chose to wear another one of my watches from my collaboration with Bulova.. This one was a clean and very sharp black round shaped ‘Chronograph’ time-piece from Bulova’s ‘Diamonds’ Collection. – I wore a very simple look that day and thought it would add an element of sleek-ness to the more distressed aesthetic I went for!.. On a side note, I have to give some attention to David Rocco’s Dolce Vita sparkling wine, it might just be my new favourite drink of the Summer (p.s… RIP SUMMER!.. I know it’s getting cold everywhere but we can still pretend right!?) – Anyways stay tuned for more events, more Bulova & more kiki’s!!!

First of all can I just say congratulations to Sid Neigum and all the designers, stylists, photographers, and people who contribute to our industry who won that evening! I was so honoured to be a part of Sid’s army this year at the Canadian Art & Fashion Awards – I even had the pleasure of being nominated myself that evening. – When I was thinking of what to wear for CAFA this year I really wanted to be true to my style but take it out of the box and if there’s someone that could do that for me, it is without a doubt Sid Neigum! He was actually one of the first Canadian designers to ever dress me for a fashion show when I was first starting to take my blogging serious so I have such a sentimental place for him and not only that, he is also a friend of mine as well. Stay tuned for more photos I snapped from CAFA coming later this week! #CROPtopSWAGonFLEEK
