It’s so crazy, every week or two is like a new eye opening experience in the world of make-up for me! If you read a bit of my last post, you’ll now know that I recently learned how to put lashes on.. I have also been learning how to apply eyeshadow, liners, etc.. How to properly contour and all these other crazy amazing things that have really helped evolve the way I not only apply but look at makeup. It really is such an artistry.. Blending, painting, colour matching, enhancing, etc… I have to say this is probably one of my favourite beauty looks to date.. I believe it’s the most refined version of what I normally try to do and with the added touch of the extra voluminous lashes!!! For this face I used:
Last night here in Toronto I had the pleasure of attending the ‘CLUB YSL#YSLBeautyCrew‘ party which I have to say… Was such a blast!!!!!!!!! I was dying because I loved walking into the party and just seeing a sea of all black fashion…… SOOOO YSL😍😍!!!!!!!!! The party was filled wall to wall with so many people, lots of familiar faces and of course, enough champagne to keep everyone hydrated (tough life!!! LOL!)…. I actually had such a dope time turning it up with my friends but I have to say… more importantly FINALLY getting acquainted with YSL beauty products as (I’m ashamed to say) I have never used YSL beauty products before!!! It was my first time ever even trying them this night, and I only tried a couple!!! I actually ended up falling in love with a couple things :)… So obviously with that said I am super excited to get to know the brand a bit better and try some of these goodies and the VIP gift bag….. stay tuned 😉 xx
So the other day I had a lovely package come in the mail from NARS! Up until this package arrived I have never worn any Nars products so I am super excited to try out all these beautiful bronzers, concealers and lip colours and especially excited to realllllly teach my self how to use the brushes!! I have never really used brushed for my face before and I technically only started using a beauty blender because my girl Jen put me on them otherwise I still would of been that girl using my fingers lol!!!! In all sincerity (Ramona Singer voice)… I CAN’T wait to get the work with all these goodies!! Stay tuned!!!!

Ok I am finally deciding to open pandora’s box and share and showcase my make-up products I use every day with you all. It’s not that big of a deal to be honest. It’s quite simple but I have to say that the result is pretty great! I went from having horrible skin growing up to getting compliments nearly any day I go out. Another plus is that I use this regime throughout the year and don’t change to fit seasonal discrepancies. That being said, say hello to my little friends! Maybe I will do a tutorial about how I apply as well! Until then, heres the final proudct.
Well, it’s only #TOPCHICRET if P’trique didn’t spill the beans to you already! HAHA! SO hilarious! Any way, really cool to see Charlotte Free, as the new face of Maybelline New York! I am a really big fan of her soft/punk look and obviously her pink hair. Continue reading for some pics and some of what Charlotte had to say about the news!
“Charlotte is the new generation of beauty. Her great energy and her unconventional style make her unique. Spontaneous, confident and daring, Charlotte is the perfect representative of the Maybelline New York woman,” says Damien Bertrand, Global Brand President, Maybelline New York.
Charlotte says, “I am so excited to be the new face of Maybelline New York. It’s an honor to represent this truly iconic brand and a dream come true for me.”
Check out the cosmotoligical (is that even a word) – make-up skills of Logan Salter.. A fellow Torontonian with a god given talent!! He has these crazycool make-up tutorials for different faces, styles, this & that.. I checked a few of them out because i find it very interesting and artistic to see the detail, layers, and finness of make-up artists today. What i find most amazing is when a make up artist does symetrical shapes/designs on either sides of the face and have a steady hand to perform so clean.
My favorite video has to be this one.. He does a barbed wire detail on the collar bones that just put the rest to shame!! Check it out..
