I think one of the biggest surprises that hit the mens fashion week runways was definitely the collaboration between Louis Vuitton & Supreme! I think it quite literally broke the fashion industries & hype-beasts alike internet lol!!! It was in a fashion + street-lovers sense… SENSORY OVERLOAD!! Here are some exclusive behind the scenes images I got from the Louis Vuitton Press Release to share with you guys!
Exciting news! Louis Vuitton and leading humanitarian organization, UNICEF, have created a partnership to support the most vulnerable children around the world with an aim to raise funds for UNICEF to help support children that are exposed to conflict, diseases, natural disasters and other situations that threaten their safety and well-being. To initiate the collaboration and begin raising the funds, Louis Vuitton has created a specially designed silver lockit and bracelet that will be available in Louis Vuitton stores worldwide and of course, online at http://louisvuitton.com/lvforunicef – For each sale of the silver Lockit pendant or bracelet $200 will be donated to UNICEF. The Silver Lockit is inspired by Louis Vuitton signature ‘unpickable tumbler lock’ invented by Georges Vuitton in 1890 to ‘protect clients most precious belongings’ – in this case it also ‘seals one’s promise to help children in need’ which is just great. The campaign for this partnership features iconic and very high-profile celebrities making their [pinky] promise with Louis Vuitton, creative director Nicholas Ghesquiere, along side the pendant wrapped around their symbol of promise. See more photos of celebrities making their promise below.

In celebration of Maison Louis Vuitton’s 160 anniversary, the house enlisted creative visionaries Karl Lagerfeld, architect Frank Gehry, photographer/director Cindy Sherman, industrial designer Marc Newson, Christian Louboutin and Comme des Garçons founder Rei Kawakubo to reinterpret the iconic LV monogram with a collection of accessories with, evidently, no barriers.
In a new editorial shot by Lagerfeld himself for Harper’s Bazaar, the collection is shared and showcased featuring a few unexpected contemporary pieces, such as Kawakubo’s ripped tote as well as Lagerfeld’s punching bag, boxing situation (above) which is not so ironically mon favourite! These limited edition pieces will be available at select Louis Vuitton stores around the world beginning mid this Halloween month!
It’s official Nicholas Ghesquière is the new creative director for Louis Vuitton.
