Another winner last night!? OF COURSE Jenny From The Block, came gun blazing in a hot fiery red, Versace number! She looked absolutely amazing last night and definitely made the red carpet look bland in comparison! I also loved Mama Donatella’s dress to last night! She gave it to!!! This has all just got me thinking, what would I of worn to the MET Gala this year if I went!? Probably a crystal encrusted Kimono to the floor with deep-v and tuxedo pants. Just GIVE’IN’IT!!!
Here are just a couple moments from my first ever couture experience while in Paris last week during Men’s and Couture shows! What an experience it was to be able to walk into such a beautiful venue and not know what to expect! The Versace couture show was nothing one would of expected, it was glamorous, gorgeous, elegant and still SO SO VERSACE! The energy was there, the ambience and the design. What a wonderful introduction to the world of couture for me! I am still in shock that at 22 I got to go to my first couture shows in Paris!!
Here are some photos from another wondrous night with the Versace team and some friends, some backstage situations and some other moments from the Versace Versus launch party in New York City a week and some days ago. This was the second installment of my project with Google & Versace and definitely was a great way to end such a wonderful, short, but amazing and seriously magic trip to New York City.. This was also the night of my uncontrollable nipple that was flashing itself all sorts of places, I mean, no shame!
So as you may know today I had the pleasure of hosting a Google+ hangout with Donatella Versace, Jonathan W. Anderson and the rest of the Versace team while here in New York with less than 24 hours to the huge Versus Versace launch party tomorrow here in New York City! It was so great to +hangout with Donnatella and J.W.Anderson as well as everyone else present like Susie Bubble, Simona Melani and Jeannie Mai!! Above is the full hangout for you to see if you missed it earlier today! It was live at the Versace boutique here in New York City on fifth avenue and was such a whirlwind adventure! I am so excited to of got a chance to meet with such an important person in fashion, work with such an iconic brand in fashion as well as one in the world of technology! ALSO don’t forget to check out the photowalk tomorrow which is going to be part of the live experience! I along with fellow bloggers and editors, celebs, etc. will be posting live photos from tomorrow night’s event straight to the Versus Versace community page which I mentioned which can be found here http://plus.google.com/+versace
In less then a few hours I will be heading over to the Versace showroom here in New York City where I will be live hosting Donatella Verscae’s very first Google+ Hangout and giving you guys all a sneak peak into the casting, the collection as well as the capsule collection with J.W. Anderson who will also be present and all things VERSUS VERSACE before the highly anticipated launch party tomorrow here in NYC!
6th floor that is! New York has consistently been my haven for crazy! I mean, crazy this, crazy action, crazy people, crazy moments, all, obviously with an amazing connotation. I mean, in the short, 50 something hours (shortest I’ve ever been in that city mind you) that I was in New York so many things took place!
O.M.G! I can only imagine the prints, and the super sexy cuts! This is going to be amazing!! I am really excited, I think this is going to be an amazing opportunity for both sides, primarily Versace!
I am thrilled to be collaborating with H&M and to have the opportunity of reaching their wide audience. The collection will be quintessential Versace, perfect for H&M and Versace fans everywhere,” says Donatella Versace.
“Versace is one of the most important brands of recent times and their collection for H&M will be glamorous and flamboyant – everything Versace stands for. Donatella Versace is sharing with us iconic designs from the archives. This is such a celebratory collaboration and is perfect for the festive season,” says Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor at H&M.
Versace is a brand steeped in glamour to its very core. Founded in 1978 by Gianni Versace, his daring dresses and wild iconography revolutionized fashion, creating provocative styles in classical themes, all cut with an impeccable eye for design. Since 1997, Donatella Versace has continued Gianni Versace’s work as creative director, evolving the brand into a global fashion house at the forefront of what luxury means today. Famous worldwide for her signature wardrobe, Donatella Versace is the epitome of everything the House of Versace stands for.
Versace is the latest couture house to collaborate with H&M on an exclusive designer collection, following the likes of Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons, Jimmy Choo and, most recently, Lanvin. For H&M, Donatella Versace has looked back to the archives to reinterpret some classic Versace designs. The womenswear collection will be dominated by dresses that express the spirit of the season, featuring studded leather, silk and colourful prints, and accessories including high heels and costume jewelry. The men’s collection will focus on sharp tailoring, including the perfect tuxedo, as well as belts and jewelry for men. For the first time in a designer collaboration at H&M, the collection will include home decor pieces including pillows and a bedspread.
