SO if you’ve been following me on insta and snapchat the last few months you will maybe have noticed that I have been realllllly, seriously, getting more and more into make-up!! I mean, it’s always been around and something that I have enjoyed but today I can confidently say that I am now #OBSESSSSSEEEDDDDDD!!!!!.. The last couple of months I’ve been really learning how to not only just wear make-up for a quick fix but how to seriously utilize it and really make things pop, flawless and beautyousssssssss!!!! TO BE HONEST… To this day, when I do my make-up I don’t really know what I am doing, outside applying the basics like foundation and concealer!! I really just have been going with the flow and trying out whatever I got however I think works and this look is no exception!! I used blush as eyeshadow on the eye-lid and under the lower lash-line!!.. I layer my lipsticks… I use bronzer as contour with a kabuki brush!! I just literally… GO with it!!! That being said, I am excited to continue to learn more and more about how to use different products, brushes and what brands really excel for what!! Read a little about this year’s quick & easy Halloween make-up routine!
For Halloween this year I didn’t really do much because…. In all honesty, I had (in my opinion) the most epic costume two years ago and have not been able to top it since so I pretty much feel defeated every year due to the lack of inspiration or idea that could possibly top Michelle Pfeiffer as Cat Woman… That being said, I was on the cusp of LITERALLY not even putting a layer of anything scary on for this years festivities.. BUT.. of course, I couldn’t allow myself to hit that much of a low so I used whatever I had in my drawers and put some faces together, for the Halloween weekend look, I did a more of a cat inspired make up.. On Halloween night I made my attempt at doing a somewhat/kinda pretty glam ghoul skeleton inspired look and quite actually ended up really liking how it turned out.. I ended up using nothing but 2 shades of, Urban Decay’s Naked Palette 3 Eyeshadow, 1 of the colours on the NYX Strobe Of Genius Highlighter Palette and a simple felt tip Guerlian Liquid Eyeliner for the entire face!!! It got the point across but still definitely maintained a pretty vibe which (I guess) made it doable for the night!…

I have never really used brushed for my face before and I technically only started using a beauty blender because my girl Jen put me on them otherwise I still would of been that girl using my fingers lol!!!! In all sincerity (Ramona Singer voice)… I CAN’T wait to get the work with all these goodies!! Stay tuned!!!!

I know this is going to sound so ratchet and narcissistic but I can’t even say it any other way…. Whenever I go out I am lucky enough to get so many compliments on my skin, my highlight, contour and overall beauty aesthetic… I take this to heart so deeply because growing up I had quite bad skin… Between the scarring and acne I never thought I would be proud of my skin… Then I discovered make-up…. It’s funny because Chanel’s Correcteur Perfection Concealer was actually one of the first pieces of make-up I ever purchased on my own and used.. I used it to hide the scars on my skin and even out my skin tone.. I also didn’t know the difference between concealer, foundation, etc.. Now.. Some years later I am fortunate enough to be an ambassador for the brand on both the fashion and beauty sides which I absolutely am so humbled to be a part of… That being said.. Yes, I am an ambassador for the brand but I do undeniably use and swear by all of these products.. Make-up has become an extension of me and a coat of armour that allows me to feel like the best version of my self (aesthetically, which may be but I do not see it as being, vein…We should not be ashamed to want to feel and look our best)… To make a long story short… To all the people that have asked what I used and didn’t have the opportunity to write it down or remember what I said.. Here are the quintessential essentials of my beauty regime!
CHANEL reveals its new ad campaign for CHANCE EAU VIVE, the latest in the line of CHANCE fragrances, CHANCE EAU VIVE is the first interpretation created by perfumer Olivier Polge with the CHANEL Fragrance Laboratory.. Pursuing his long-standing collaboration with the House, Jean-Paul Goude has once again used his remarkable creativity and imagination to enrich the fresh and playful world of CHANCE with his touch of fantasy and talent for allegory. To celebrate the arrival of this new fragrance to the CHANCE family, Jean-Paul Goude imagined the story of a bold and strong- willed young woman who wants to be on the CHANCE girls’ team. Looking for fun, friendship and a good challenge, she has to prove that she too can take her chance and win. The scene takes place in an imaginary bowling alley. A young woman grabs a bottle of CHANCE EAU VIVE, and throws it down the lane before the astonished eyes of the other three, who are equally determined to win. Strike! She succeeds and celebrates her win. The four women then take another chance, all together: the group has welcomed its newest member.
CHANCE EAU VIVE is a concentration of energy that overflows from the very first second. Grapefruit, already found in the first CHANCE fragrance, brings a surprising touch of bitterness. Habitually short-lived, here it settles on the skin and seems to pulse with a grapefruit-blood orange accord. Citrus fruits immediately set the fragrance’s fresh and energetic tone. Gradually, one discovers jasmine and white musks, which play a key role in the CHANCE family, before the scent of fresh vetiver takes hold of a cedar-iris accord, like a distant echo of the grapefruit. CHANCE EAU VIVE sweeps you up in a burst, revitalizes and sparks desire. For if chance won’t come to you, then you must simply go find your chance…
It’s time for a new year and definitely time for a new routine.. IN this case, the routine is by way of keeping a fresh look. That being said, I am so excited to try these new products from the lovely team at Chanel. I did some reviews and asked around and have heard nothing but positive and good things about these specific products so I am definitely excited to get to using them.
