Hey guys!! If you have been following me on my social media channels, then you know I just recently came back from my 3rd time attending Art Basel, in Miami! I had such an amazing time yet again, minus the lack of sun…. But we still #MadeItWork!! Aside from the dope festivities that I got to attend (stay tuned, coming up) I had the chance to experience and stay with a new gorgeous hotel called the Grand Beach Miami! Located at 48th and Collins, the hotel is perfectly located the perfect distance from all the South Beach madness but by all my personal favourite hang out places like the Soho House. The Grand Beach is a gorgeous property which backs up onto it’s own private pools and beach area…. One of my favourite parts of the Grand Beach Miami is it’s desire to create an affordably luxurious experience for it’s guests which you really get the essence of, in the design, in the service and in the overall experience with the hotel.. Another favourite definitely has to be the lobby, once you walk in, I can’t stress how gorgeous that marble lobby is.. Not only is it just a place to check in but it’s a library and lounge area, a bar and has a delicious little cafe that I will show you soon! Can’t wait to share more of my experience at the Grand Beach Miami and Art Basel 2015, so stay tuned!!!!!!
Very few times am I really ever left in awe and filled with wanderlust and dream.. I mean, the last time that probably happened was when Chanel whisked me away to Paris to join them on a multi-day excursion filled with fittings, a very special visit to a very special apartment and some other goodies.. Or… Maybe before that when I got to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for the very first time.. I’ve had some moments that have left me in awe and this my friends… This chic-as-ever, 48 or so hour trip with Veuve Clicquot to parts of Canada i’ve never even been to was definitely such a great experience!! What started with a 3 hour train ride from Montreal to Quebec in a Veuve Clicquot decked out train cart or caboose, whatever you would like to call it! It was so chic! We got on board at around 9:30AM, had some breakfast and by 11:00AM (the time that it’s actually legal to drink booze on that part of the country) the Veuve Clicquot began popping!! It was so effing chic!!.. Then we arrived in Quebec where we as a group walked together to our accommodation for the evening, the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Du Frontenac… A place where Veuve Clicquot’s heritage laid rich in the ambiance of this stunning chateau.. Getting to learn that Veuve Clicquot has been in Canada for 160 years.. Meaning that Veuve Clicquot was in Canada, before Canada was even Canada #EXCUSE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!.. Here we had a black-tie dinner for the 60 or so guests that were all invited by Veuve Clicquot…. The dinner was inspired by and modelled after the Queen’s Gala dinner from a period she was at the Chateau du Frontenac.. The dinner was gorgeous from the delicious food down to the copious amounts of Veuve Clicquot, we all sipped and cheers’d with throughout the evening! What a gorgeous experience!

GEEZUS! We are only like a couple days into New York Fashion Week, and I am already crazy pooped but definitely turning down for nothing haha! I had so much fun the other day started off with some shows, one of them which was Adam Selman, which I can’t wait to share with you guys! Then I had a nice early dinner at Soho house with some friends where I wrote up all the blog posts on my HP STREAM 7 Tablet which I can’t wait to share more with you guys throughout the week.. I am actually kind of obsessed with this device for a few reasons one being it syncs with my desktop at home so I have an amazing level of access to whatever I need and the fact that it’s Windows 8, so it runs super smooth and efficiently (so stay tuned).. After the refuel I made my way over to meet up with everyone at the Gramercy Park hotel where Barney’s was doing a private party with Russel Westbrook for All-Star Weekend! It was such a chic event and everyone was there! Got to see all the homies and have a little kiki before calling it a night!
Miami has been nothing but sunshine, beach, shopping and eating. What is life!? I mean, I am definitely not complaining though! I checked out the Design District for the first time this trip and was so amazed to see how much it’s expanded since I first saw it last year during the holidays! It’s crazy how much is moving there. From Givenchy to Hermes, Cartier to Zegna! The entire fashion alphabet has made it’s way to Design District and not only that, the design of the actual architecture, buildings, grounds, etc. is just beautiful as well! I can’t wait until it all comes together!! All else aside, I finally found the perfect black crew-neck t-shirt of my dreams from IRO Paris – Also, this is my second debut of my new favourite shoes a.k.a these tan suede booties from Surface To Air which I seriously can’t get enough of.. Why did I wait so long to move over to this movement? I mean I tried it out but never committed! Now all of a sudden I’m just hooked! It’s that new me, that 2015 me #LOL!
Hello from sunny, beautiful, humid, hot, gorgeous and sexy Miami! I’ve had another amazing holidays here with the family and crazily enough have been openly detaching from black for 2015 – LIKE HELLO LOOK AT THIS OUTFIT!? NOT ONE OUNCE OF BLACK!! Considering the facts, this is quite impressive huh!? I think the most impressive step I’ve taken is my detach from my classic black boot style and this hella new for me tan suede ankle booties, which quite frankly I am overwhelmingly obsessed with… Anyways, all else aside, I am super excited for 2015 because I am going to be doing some crazy sheeeatttt and really pushing my dreams to the front line! I can’t wait to share so much more with you guys!
So every year I go down to Miami at the beginning of December and the end. The beginning for the Art Basel festivities that take place throughout the city, really cool fun things go down in Miami during Art Basel so obviously I can’t resist… The vibe is amazing, the people are out, the city is seriously always alive but it’s on crack during Art Basel and just everything is good so obviously you know I can’t resist #GoodVibes! As you can probably guess, I head to Miami at the end of December for the holiday’s & etc. I love celebrating New Years in Miami, last year I had the most epic New Years with my girl Grey Nat from Grey Ant sunglasses – Started at the Fontaine Bleu for the Pharrell performance and countdown, did a couple other things #iCantRemember and then ended up at Diddy’s house! #HowRandomRight? – Needless to say it was an experience so I can’t wait to see what is on the table to experience this coming 3..2…1!
AY YO!! If you’ve been following me on social media then you know that I’ve been in New York as a guest of H&M for the Alexander Wang for H&M collaboration launch! From press conferences to the mucho-coveted fashion show! This has definitely been an experience for the books! It’s been a short but oh so sweet trip and it was really cool getting really immersed in the world of H&M and hanging out with the homies from team Canada #ShoutOutToMyGirlEmily lol! Here are a few moments from the private press conference where Vogue editor Sally Singer gave a one on one conversation with Alexander Wang & Margareta van den Bosch about how the collaboration came about.. Margareta, the brains behind the collaborative efforts of H&M noted that the huge influx of work-out-to-fashion style played a big role in the collab… Then I have some moments from the show.. Ou the show! I can’t wait to share my favourite looks and ontop of it the VIDEO of the runway and YASSSSS you already know Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott!!!! #YAS #YAS #YAS!! Regarding the collection!? You already know I love everything Alexander Wang already does in his ready-to-wear collection so you can only imagine the excitement when I heard about this collaboration! It is the epitome of street style cool! I know there are some killer Alexander Wang style bags, and a whole lot of sportswear inspired but actually useable/wearable clothing.. So good!!!!
There’s really only one way to correctly describe that moment when it’s 4:00PM on a Tuesday and you are arriving at your private appointment at the Chanel Corporate Offices in New York for your up close and one on one walk-through of Chanel’s most recent Haute Couture collection. That one way, or more if anything word is #DEAD.. No kidding, it’s MAGIC!.. Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2014-15 Haute Couture collection crazily embodies all that Haute Couture is. The powerful details, the craftsmanship, the unique and other-wordly embroidery, and the overall presence of the house. I had the honour of getting all up in it with these pieces and can’t even really explain just how magnificent the work behind these pieces are. From the concrete, yes, Karl used concrete as embroidery on some of these pieces to the plastic laminated lace, every inch of every textile was thought out and created to make fashion lovers around the world dream.. Enjoy these photos and remember to stay tuned for my #HPPrint Live Print photos that will come to life with exclusive videos from my experience at my Chanel Haute Couture appointment…
Jeans – GAP 1969 ‘Always Skinny’ / Tank Top – Travis Taddeo / Boots – Diesel Black/Gold
Ciao Ciao Ciao!! Hello from beautiful, sunny and occasional monsoon rainy Milano! It’s actually really crazy hot here and I have been panicking because I have barely been able to wear leather.. Luckily I stocked up (literally got like 6 pairs) on these GAP 1969 ‘Always Skinny’ jeans… Because they fit so soooo good and are such a super comfortable denim! Do you like the little DIY details I have added to the ends of the jeans? No lie.. I was totally inspired by Kim K’s pair so you know.. I say Kim Kardashian wearing army pants a flip flops [read: denim with cut off hems] so I got army pants and flip flops [I wouldn’t be caught dead in flip flops]… Oh and they are like under $100 so #BYE.. #Winning #Deals #Life #EveryoneAsksMeWhatHighFashionDesignerTheyAre..
