Well has it not been a while! I am so sorry for the hiatus but I think it’s safe to say I am back (yet again) and excited to share all my new favourites and what is going on! I just got back from a whirlwind trip to that consisted of airplanes taking me from Toronto to New York, Athens, Santorini, Paris and New York again. Amongst this I’ve discovered a new fragrance and pair of lip colours that I have fallen in love with! First is the classic Tom Ford, Black Orchid – I was never a big fragrance person but I’ve been more inclined since my transition into my new vibe! SO I think I found my fragrance in Tom Ford. Next are the Tom Ford lipsticks in Pink Dusk and Indian Rose – Both beautiful nudes one more a darker tint and the other lighter and brighter! Both equally beautiful and both I equally recommend either for yourself OR with the holidays around the corner, for that special someone that you want to pucker up and smooch or smell like a billion bucks!!!.. Stay tuned for more as I am ROLLING it out! XOJAY

THE BALMAINxBEYONCÉ COLLECTION
In my eight years as Balmain’s Creative Director, I’ve had a lot of incredible experiences and I know that there are many, many more to come—but I can say today, with absolute confidence, that collaborating with Beyoncé on her Coachella concerts is destined to be one of the most important and treasured memories of my career.
Why? Because Beyoncé.
Everything you’ve already heard before is true. She’s a goddess, blessed with an incredibly beautiful voice and a moral vision to match. She’s a powerful, inspirational woman who isn’t about to accept any limitation. And, she’s a joy to work with. Her level of obsessive perfectionism matches mine, so we loved poring over everything—literally everything—together; making sure that we agreed on every tiny, teeny detail of the two enormous collections that we created together for her, her family and her 200-plus dancers and band members.
It’s not often I get to partner so closely on a true collaboration with someone that I so highly respect and from whom I can learn so much. Our three months of meetings, rehearsals, face- timing and endless phone calls definitely paid off. What we all saw on those successive Coachella weekends was nothing less than iconic. Her performance, message and music—along with the looks that we created together—made for one of those rare, indelible images that I believe will long remain in my generation’s collective memory.
After experiencing that beautiful partnership, we weren’t ready to just walk away without adding one final, perfecting touch. This collection of hoodies and tees, based on key designs from our Coachella efforts, responds to our need to repay an obvious debt for the inspiration we received from the signature spirit and legacy of America’s historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Which is why we are so very pleased to announce that proceeds from this collection will help fund the impressive work of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF)—helping to guarantee that tomorrow’s leaders will be able to attend college, thrive and graduate.

With the first day of summer right around the corner, I’m committing to find a Summer time piece to wear without
worry of getting it damaged should I ever go to the beach back in Miami or get it wet BUT course MOST IMPORTANTLY a watch that
will give LOOKS, STYLE AND FASHION! Right now, I’m looking at two different Rollies that can be found on Bob’s
Watches. One is a modern timepiece while the other is a vintage.
First, I’m thinking about this vintage Submariner. This watch can go doing into the water up to 200m or
660 ft. It is very unlikely that I’ll ever really go that deep. Of course, I probably wouldn’t let this one
touch the water since it’s on a leather strap. This vintage Rolex is at very fair price considering that this
watch has a glossy gilt dial. Which basically means the face of the watch is shiny/glossy. This is
something I’d love to wear.
For the modern watch I’m taking an in-depth look at the Submariner 116610. The modern version of the
Submariner. This watch is an all-time classic and can seriously be worn for any occasion. Whether I’m
going to a party, dressing up for a wedding, going for a dive, or just casually wearing it around my
friends and family, this Rolex is pretty hard to beat. It has a simple design and it isn’t too flashy.
I’m having a hard time picking which one I should go for. Which of these two watches do you like? I
simply love both the vintage and modern watches by Rolex so I’m going to need your help.
